Some local festivals due throughout 2012...

Marmalade Festival 23rd-26th February. Activities to include a marmalade competition, spring walk, bike rides, themed lunches, juggling & children's activities as well as music and a whole host of other fun & interesting things.

Bromyard International Town Criers Festival 5th & 6th May. To be held at the Town Green, the Town Criers Festival promises to be a lot of fun & a great social event for the whole family.

Bromyard Scarecrow Festival 1st-5th June. This years Scarecrow Festival is surely to be a sight to see. Lots of activities will be taking place and a royal theme is to be in the forefront of all the Scarecrow-makers minds.

Bromyard Gala July (dates TBC). The Gala is one of Herefordshires biggest events and is indeed the biggest outdoor show in the county. It will boast a steam rally, food fair, dog show, country pursuits & much more.

Nozstock: The Hidden Valley Festival 27th-29th July. "A festival built from a curious amalgamation of performance, art, electronic supersounds and good old-fashioned guitar strumming and drum bashing".

Bromyard Hop Festival 1st & 2nd September. Well what a show it is sure to be, horse-drawn vehicle parade through Bromyard town with hop pocket banners. Day-long events on the Town Green including a Hog Roast & the Hop Pocket race. There will also be an historical display by the Bromyard History Society as well as a performance of the Hop Play, which was last produced back in '95. The hop festival is promising to be a great load of fun for all involved.

Bromyard Folk Festival 7th-9th September. Always a great atmosphere, the Bromyard Folk Festival attracts "folkies" from far and wide. Traditional music, song & dance. A must for any music festival fan.

Bromyard Illuminations last weekend in November. A cracking day for the whole family, with loads promised to be going on. Volunteers work to provide the town with a truly magical Christmas light display which never fails to impress. A task appreciated by all.
